New

The milestone board from the original HUD: during a pursuit, your rival's milestones show top right, with your progress on each (it moves through the ones you haven't done yet).
Friends: you can now ask to join a friend who's playing their own career. Pick them in Online > Friends, then "Ask to Join Their Game". They get asked, and if they say yes you go straight into their party.
New infraction: Reckless Driving, over 144 km/h with the police watching. Blacklist #4's 8-infraction milestone can be done now. Excessive Speeding now starts at 130 km/h, as in the original.

Changes

The Koenigsegg CCX is now a Pink Slip car at the car lot: 2 Pink Slips (it was $350,000). Already own one? It's still yours.

Fixes

Milestones now count like the original game: every pursuit counts toward ALL of your current rival's milestones at once. Get away to claim the ones you reached; get busted and they're lost. Picking one on the Milestones screen drops you straight into a pursuit.
Photo Tickets: passing another rival's speed camera now tells you that only your current rival's cameras count (it used to say nothing).
Career: the customization shop's Backroom is always there now. Click or tap "Backroom" (or press 1 / your controller's button) to get in. Before, it only showed up if you held a part marker, and a click or tap didn't open it.
In the Backroom, each unique part costs one part marker. You win markers by picking them after you beat a Blacklist rival.
Online races: if a player leaves a race against the AI (gives up, quits or teleports away), the rest can still win it - if everyone still in the race beats the AI racers, it counts as a win, cash and all. If the race's host leaves, the next player takes the race over.
Ranked: leaving a Ranked race or Head to Head early now counts as a loss for your rating.
Fixed the Bugatti Veyron's handling: it no longer grips harder and harder the faster it goes - it now corners like the other supercars.
Phones: the browser game now starts with about 200 MB less memory and, in lite mode, downloads about 90 MB less - and almost nothing the next time. Fewer phones should drop out while it loads.
Smoother on phones: the picture and the HUD are drawn in one go while you drive.
iPhone and iPad always play the lite game now - the full game never got going on them.
Firefox now starts in lite mode (its full game ran out of graphics memory), and any browser that runs out of memory in the full game switches to lite on its next start.
Fixed crashes: Safari when the phone was put away, a mouse lock the browser refused, odd mouse buttons, and a game file cut short in the browser's cache.
No graphics? The page now tells you why when it can (no graphics driver, Brave, Chrome on Linux, Firefox outside Windows) and what to do - and where your browser has an older graphics mode, it offers to try that.
"This is taking far longer than it should" now only shows when a start has really stopped - slower computers were being told to reload starts that were getting there.
Android app: no more "isn't responding" when you tap while the game loads.
Android app: fixed a crash on some Samsung phones when a cutscene played - and if one ever happens again, that phone switches to another way of playing the films.
Android: the app no longer says it ran out of memory when it closed for some other reason - it only offers Lite Mode after a real out-of-memory close.

New

Police chases now start like the original game: when the cops come after you, time slows and the camera swings round your car to show the police car closing in, lights flashing - then it's back to you at full speed. Your car keeps driving itself through the shot. (Turn it off with Options - Gameplay - Game Moment Camera.)
Online milestones now wait 20 seconds before they start, so the rest of the lobby can press Enter to join you. Everyone starts together, already rolling, with the police right behind.
Head to Head: the yellow and black barriers at the cliff edges now break when you hit them. No more driving through them.
Head to Head: going over the cliff now plays a slow-motion crash shot like in Carbon: the camera stays at the edge and follows the car down, then the results.
Head to Head lobbies now wait 60 seconds before the duel so you can Change Car. In Ranked you can only pick cars from your tier.

Fixes

Police and traffic now drive through race barriers instead of getting stuck behind them, and the police can see you through them.
Player cards show the car maker's logo at its proper shape (it was squeezed), and Aston Martin cars now show theirs.
Android: if the full game runs out of memory on your phone while loading, the app now offers Lite Mode on the next start instead of closing every time.
Android: the menus and garages should no longer look almost black (only the brightest parts showing) on phones with older Mali graphics drivers.

Changes

Race lobbies are simpler: they just show when the race starts.
The sign-up page is simpler: just a name and a password - the invite code box is gone.
PC: all of this is on PC too, except the Android lines.

New

Halloween Event: play 50 Head to Head duels (Casual or Ranked, win or lose) by October 31 to unlock the Pumpkin underglow - a flickering jack-o'-lantern glowing on the road at each side of your car. It's an event reward only, never sold in the shop. Track your duels in News.
News: the latest patch notes and events now show in the game when you log in, with pictures. Find them any time under News on the main menu - including a Supporters page with what's new for Patreon supporters and a button straight to Patreon.
The garage is dressed for Halloween until October 31: dark, foggy, with jack-o'-lanterns, candles and gravestones.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

New

Razor's BMW M3 GTR - the hero car - is at the car lot for 1 Pink Slip. Beating Razor in the story still gives it to you as before.
Player cards: click or tap a player's name in a party or lobby (or their arrow on the World Map in Free Roam) to add them as a friend, mute them or view their profile. The card shows the car they're driving, their rank and their crew.
Player profiles show their Ranked rating, wins and rank, Top 15 place, Online Blacklist place, crew, supporter tier and how long they've been racing, plus their career: Blacklist rival, rivals beaten, races won and cars owned.
See your own profile in Online > My Profile. In Online > Friends, picking a friend opens their card.
You now get a notice when someone sends you a friend request, with Accept and Later right there.
Mute Player turns off that player's voice and hides their chat.
The World Map in Free Roam now shows up to 10 other players (it was 3).
Drag races now use the original game's drag HUD: the big tachometer, the shift light (blue good, green perfect, red over-rev), the engine heat gauge and the Early / Good / Perfect / Over Rev shift calls. The perfect launch window shows on its dial too. (Lite mode keeps the regular race gauges.)
Supporters: your perks now turn on by themselves once Patreon gives you your Discord role - no buttons to press. If your Discord isn't linked to your game account yet, a private thread in #supporters gives you a one-time link to log in with.
The game now tells you when your supporter tier is active: a message the next time you log in, with where to find your perks.

Changes

The Ranked Top 15 is now laid out in neat columns: place, rank badge, racer, rank and wins.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

Fixes

Android: online races and Free Roam lobbies no longer crash while loading. Other players' cars now load one at a time, and when your phone is low on memory you wait a little longer on the loading screen instead of the app closing.
Fixed online chat and race joins not reaching anyone from a lobby's host with a far-progressed career (they could see everyone, but nobody saw their messages).
Head to Head: fixed the WRONG WAY warning showing while driving the right way (mostly on hairpins), and removed two invisible walls near the finish of Lookout Point.

Changes

The Blacklist now counts every race you win, the same race again too, so it no longer stops at 175 (every race in the game, won once). Your count carries on from where it is.
Casual and Ranked wins now count toward the Blacklist too: first place in a race, or winning a duel.
Head to Head: finish first and you'll watch your rival's run to the line - your car stops and the camera follows them until the stage ends.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

Fixes

Online races you start yourself (as the party's host, or in a Free Roam lobby) now count toward the Blacklist and pay out when you win, the same as joining someone else's race.
The sun's flare no longer shines through buildings, hills and trees - its glare only lights the sky now, sunsets included.

New

Color Filter has two new looks for the sky: Most Wanted Soft (a softer blue) and Most Wanted Muted (softer still, blended with the filter). Options > Video > Color Filter now goes Off, Most Wanted, Most Wanted Soft, Most Wanted Muted.
Razor now keeps a live post in #casual-lfg and #ranked-lfg showing how many racers are waiting right now - Casual and Ranked lobbies, Head to Head and Free Roam. Spot one, then join from Online in the game.
PC: this is on PC too.

New

Head to Head (Alpha) is now open to everyone: Online > Head to Head for one-on-one Canyon Duels in Carbon's canyons, Casual or Ranked.
Most Wanted supporters get two new name plate styles: Flame, with fire running round the edge of your plate, and Ghost, with little ghosts fading in and out at random spots on it.
Pick them in Options > Player > Plate Style (seven styles now).

Changes

Razor's Most Wanted tier text in #donate now lists flames and a ghost with the other banner styles.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

Fixes

Far-off mountains no longer turn white on clear days; they fade into the blue of the sky behind them.
The Color Filter works on buildings, trees and hills against the sky again (since the new sky it had stopped above the horizon).

October 19, 2026

New

The sun is back, as it was in the original game: drive toward it and you'll see its warm glow and long rays across the sky. It now sits lower in the sky like the original's sun, so you see it during the day, and it hides behind buildings, trees and hills.
PC: this is on PC too.

New

After every race you now see the cash you earned counting up on the results screen, with your new bank total. After online races it shows on the room screen when you get back.
Ranked: after each Ranked race you now see how much Elo you gained or lost, and a RANK UP or RANK DOWN animation plays when your rank changes.
Clear weather now has a blue sky with clouds drifting across it, and sunrises and sunsets glow orange and pink. The Color Filter no longer turns the sky grey.
No invite code needed any more: make your account at nfsmwonline.com/login with just a name and a password.
Link your Discord (optional): in #apply press Link my account and follow the link. Once linked, Reset my password in #support works for you, and your supporter perks and the Blacklist role find your account.

Changes

Online lobbies now show a microphone icon next to each player's name. It's full while they're talking, and faint for your own mic when it's on but not picking anything up.
The sign-up page's invite code box is optional now. A code from Discord still works and links the account for password resets.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

Changes

Voice chat: while someone talks, a small microphone now shows next to their name in the top-left player list, instead of ")))". Your own row shows a faint microphone while your mic is on but nobody can hear you yet.
PC: all of this is on PC too.

Fixes

Ride height no longer jumps to the highest setting when you open or change Suspension. Cars that got stuck high can be lowered again.
Blacklist cars are back on their proper-size wheels, sitting at the right height.
Fixed getting busted instantly at the start of a police chase if you had reset your car earlier (for example after escaping a chase or during the EVADED banner).

New

Voice chat on the Android app: talk to the players near you (Options > Audio > Voice Chat). It needs the new app - get it at nfsmwonline.com/app - and asks once to use your microphone.
A small microphone now shows over a player's car while they're talking.
Push to Talk on a controller: hold D-pad down while driving.
Porsche 911 GT2 RS customizing: body kits (Weissach, Carbon Fibre, Body Colour, Stealth), five front lids (Weissach, Carbon Fibre, Full Carbon, Body Colour, Gloss Black), its own wing in carbon, body colour or stealth - or none - plus every shared spoiler and roof scoop.
New Discord channels: #casual-lfg and #ranked-lfg - find players for Casual (2 or more) and Ranked (4) races.

Changes

Microphones stay off until you turn them on: Voice Chat starts off for everyone.
Voice chat: your own line in the online list shows how loud your microphone hears you, and ))) while the others can hear you. If you can't be heard, the screen now tells you why (Voice Chat is off, the old Android app, or the microphone isn't allowed). On phones the microphone now works like a phone call - clearer, no echo - and Open Mic picks up quieter voices.
The game starts sooner: its code downloads at about a third of the size, and if your connection drops while it downloads, it tries again by itself.
The game uses much less memory - about 150 MB less on phones (Lite mode) and about 900 MB less in the full game - so the browser closes it far less often. The Android app and the PC game use less too.
A phone whose browser keeps closing the full game switches to Lite mode by itself next time (you can still switch back).
If your browser gives the game no graphics, the page now points you to the Android app or the PC game, which run on more devices.
Race opponents are more varied: every race now picks its rivals at random from the 20 cars closest in speed to yours, so you'll meet different cars from race to race.
The pause menu no longer has Quit to Free Roam in the prologue's races, Casual and Ranked races, Quick Race or Challenge Series races.
Pause menu: Quit to Free Roam now comes before Quit to Main Menu.
PC: all of this is on PC too, where it applies.

Fixes

The city didn't draw on older Chrome versions (130 and 131) - it does now.
iPhone and iPad: when Safari's graphics stop, the game now restarts by itself instead of freezing.
Fixed the game crashing while it starts on some phones that are short of memory.
Fix: liveries now show on the add-on cars' bodies (the GT2 RS and the G80) - before, only body kit parts took them.
